We started Old Country Outdoors to be a fun informative and nostalgic trip to the Great American Outdoors. We are presenting light read fun stories to invoke past time memories with special people. We even have a place where you can share your story with us (below). If chosen it will be displayed prominently as one of our features! We also publish some informative “how to” articles to help you get started or gain some new insights for the experienced. One important aspect is our product reviews and recommendations! Yes we do act as affiliates but our vetting process insures you are getting top of the line suggestions at the any low price point they offer. So we hope you will feel comfortable as our experienced staff have over 30 years experience in the outdoor product category licensing products for a major outdoor brand. One of our main contributors is Charles Shamburger who is the former Licensing and Internet Director for B.A.S.S. Inc. He served in various capacities with the company from 1977 until 2001. He then served as Vice President for Stratos Publications an upscale Destination magazine for private jet owners until 2008. Currently he operates a local city magazine and manages multiple online properties.
